HIST 260 - (D) Native American History3 cr. This course takes a Native-centered approach to human life in North America. It begins with Native creation stories, spirituality, and the peopling of the Americas. It continues with European invasion and the threats posed to Native sovereignty that culminated with the creation of the United States. It continues to the present day with an emphasis on the adaptability of Native life in the modern world.
