ACC 541 - Financial Reporting Fraud: Detection & Prevention3 cr. Prerequisite ACC 502 or equivalentThis course examines the most common means by which financial reporting fraud is committed. A case study approach is combined with discussions of the accounting and legislative (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley Act) issues surrounding the commission, prevention, and detection of financial reporting fraud.
