S/CJ 215 - (Q) Statistics for the Social Sciences3 cr. An introduction to the techniques used by social scientists to analyze their data. Students learn descriptive and inferential statistics in conjunction with computer usage. Basic skills and procedures are taught for organizing and describing data, assessing relationships among social variables, and using this information to make inferences about the population.
