PHIL 210J - Ethics3 cr. Through the presentation of a select history of moral philosophy, students are introduced to the philosophical discipline of ethics. Original texts of such thinkers as Plato, Aristotle, Epicurus, Epictetus, St. Augustine, Hobbes, Kant, Mill, and Nietzsche are enlisted to explore the most fundamental question in ethics, “What is the good life?”
