1In the cognate Social Science electives, the department recommends a mix of Human Services, Criminal Justice, Political Science and Psychology electives, especially PSYC 224 - (S) Personality and Individual Differences .

2Department recommendation: The sociology internship may be taken in either the junior or senior year, or both (not to exceed a maximum of 6 credits of internship).

3Students in the five-year College of Arts and Sciences M.B.A. program should take the series of 1-credit M.B.A. prep courses here. Students considering this CAS/MBA program must take MATH 108  and any prerequisites before the last semester of the senior year.

4The selection of a First Year Seminar is likely to fulfill requirements both for the First Year Seminar and a General Education Requirement. Thus, the First Year Seminar will not add to the total credits for the semester. Talk with your advisor if you have any questions.
