Psychology Minor

The student must take18 credits, consisting of

and one course from three of the following four groups:

Physiological Processes

 Learning Processes

Social-Development Processes

Individual Processes

An equivalent statistics course may be substituted for PSYC 210 - (Q) Statistics in the Behavioral Sciences  and an equivalent research methods course may be substituted for PSYC 330 - Research Methods in the Behavioral Sciences . Contact the Department Chair for a list of these courses. Acceptable course substitutions for PSYC 210  must focus on inferential statistics. EDUC 120  cannot be used for this minor. Any substituted course must then be replaced with a 3-credit Psychology course; that is the PSYC minor requires 18 credits of coursework in psychology, not substituted courses. PSYC 211  or PSYC 212  for majors can be substituted for PSYC 210  or PSYC 330  for minors.
