Students who are not yet ready to declare a major have the option of selecting one of three general areas of study – CAS Common Curriculum, KSOM Business Area and PCPS Common Curriculum – with the particular major to be determined by the end of the freshman year.

CAS Common Curriculum – First Year

Undecided students who are interested in exploring one or more of the majors offered in the College of Arts and Sciences may enroll in the CAS Common Curriculum program. Students in this program take a combination of 100 level General Education courses and courses in potential majors. Specific courses are chosen in consultation with an academic advisor. In addition, CAS Common Curriculum students are invited to participate in a non-credit bearing “Undecided Workshop.”
