Curriculum
I. Required courses in the major and cognate include courses in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science,
Natural Science, Mathematics, and Physics.
II. The student must complete four courses from among the following electives within the major; at least one
course must be chosen from each group:

Environmental Science Curriculum
1Students entering exempt from MATH 103 may select a course in chemistry, biology, physics or math.
2PS 230 and ECO 303 strongly recommended.
3Or PHYS 140/PHYS 140L – PHYS 141/PHYS 141L : Elements of Physics I-II.
4 The selection of a First Year Seminar is likely to fulfill requirements both for the First Year Seminar and a General Education Requirement. Thus, the First Year Seminar will not add to the total credits for the semester. Talk with your advisor if you have any questions.
