To most effectively use the skills developed in the Media and Information Technology major, a content area is needed. Therefore, each student will complete either: (a) another academic major; or (b) an academic minor (or concentration) and take a course in Statistics3 (Quantitative Reasoning Area).

3MATH 204  or any other statistics course that fits into GE QUAN. If the cognate is a second major in the sciences, any GE QUAN is acceptable.

5PHIL 214  Computers and Ethics or equivalent course in Philosophy or Theology/Religious Studies area.

6The selection of a First Year Seminar is likely to fulfill requirements both for the First Year Seminar and a General Education Requirement.  Thus, the First Year Seminar will not add to the total credits for the semester.  Talk with your advisor if you have any questions.
