The student majoring in English must take ENLT 140 English Inquiry : English Inquiry or the equivalent, and twelve other courses designated ENTL, THTR, or WRTG English and Theatre Department Courses . Students are required to take at least one course in each of the following areas:

In addition to meeting these nine requirements, students must take a 400-level senior seminar (see our website) and two of their twelve courses must be at the 300- or 400- level. English Curriculum
1The selection of a First Year Seminar is likely to fulfill requirements both for the First Year Seminar and a General Education Requirement. Thus, the First Year Seminar will not add to the total credits for the semester. Talk with your advisor if you have any questions. |
