HAD 530 - Leadership and Organization Behavior

(Prerequisites HAD 519 and HAD 501)

Concepts drawn from organizational theory, management science, systems theory, sociology, and psychology provide a theoretical foundation for the study of effective leadership within organizations. Communication, problem solving, critical thinking, conflict and change management, and decision making are explored. Leadership models are reviewed including leadership competencies, globalization, governance, and cultural diversity.
