HAD 524 - Health Care Law and Ethics

This graduate level course introduces the student to the study of bioethics and the foundations of the US Legal System. Topics include ethical and legal bases of healthcare quality, liability, contracts, confidentiality, corporate compliance and end-of-life-care. The course uses situational analysis and review of trial and appellate court decisions.
