NUTR 110 - (E) Introduction to Nutrition3 cr. This course introduces nutrition as a science. Basic nutrition concepts regarding macro- and micronutrients, dietary requirements, nutrient digestion, disease prevention, and weight management are discussed. Additional topics include: vitamins, minerals, fluids, the lifecycle, food safety and the global food supply.
