GERM 315 - (W,D,CF) Violence in Twentieth Century Germany3 cr. (Pre-requisites: Four completed semesters of college-level German or instructor permission)Violence is a central problem in twentieth-century German culture and society. Our most common associations with “German” violences, including the two world wars and the Holocaust, are specific articulations of violence and brutality that together generate a cultural and historical questions. Taught in German.
