PSYC 490 - Senior Seminar I: Foundational Paradigms1.5 cr. (Prerequisites: senior standing; Psychology major or minor)
This lecture and discussion course will examine central themes, theories and debates throughout the history of modern psychology. The emergence of the discipline and unique characteristics of the psychological approach to addressing questions about self, behavior, science, and society will be addressed through critical analysis of the seminal literature (e.g., Freud, James, Skinner).
