HPRO 480 - Internship in Health Promotion3 cr.
(Prerequisites: Senior HP majors, HPRO 210 , HPRO 300 , HPRO 310 , HPRO 320 , HPRO 330 and HPRO 340 , cumulative GPA of 2.50 in major.)
The 120-hour supervised internship is designed to provide an opportunity for students to use the concepts, techniques and theories learned in the classroom in professional health promotion settings. Students are assigned tasks that enable them to develop competencies and increase their skills as entry-level health promotion professionals. Immunizations and clearances required.
