CJ 250 - Introduction to Homeland Security3 cr. This course provides students with a broad, up-to-date, multidisciplinary overview of homeland security as a contemporary subject of intense interest and inquiry, and as an emerging academic discipline. The course focuses on four areas: the enemy and the threat; the policies and procedures enacted since 9/11; the key players at the federal, state, and local levels; and legal issues critical to the conduct of homeland security activities.
