PS 327 - U.S. Congress3 cr. Reading and discussion of selected Federalist Papers in order to appreciate the founders’ views on human nature, the nature of government, democracy, and legislatures. An examination of the structure and function of the contemporary United States Congress, including the impact of political parties and interest groups on the business of Congress. Theories of representation are also considered.
