EECE 508 - Early Development and Intervention4 cr. This course focuses on the early childhood typical and atypical development (ages birth to 8); cognitive, motor, social-emotional, self-help, and language. Students will be introduced to the field of early childhood special education and how to design interventions for children who are demonstrating a developmental delay. Students will have the opportunity to work in a transdisciplinary team. Theory to practice linkages will be stressed. There is a laboratory/field component to this course.
