ERDG 506 - Advanced Linguistics: Language Foundations for Teachers of Reading and Writing

3 cr.
(Prerequisite, ERDG 501 or consent of instructor)This course is designed to assist students in understanding the language processing requirements of proficient reading and writing (Phonological, Orthographic, Semantic, Syntactic, and Discourse).  The course provides an in-depth analysis of the domains of language and the language processes underlying reading and writing.
